I am doing a little desktop cleanup today. I found a set of instructions I had put together for a client regarding how to move documents from their old Windows based system into their new Time Matters document management systems. Since this subject comes up all time, it seemed like a nice opportunity to write a white paper.
The resulting white paper is only a few pages long but describes the process of either linking or moving legacy documents to Time Matters. If you link the documents, they remain in their original location but are visible from Time Matters. If you move the documents, there is an extra step but the documents will be in the same location as the rest of your new Time Matters documents.
